Elijah Craig Small Batch 1789 Bourbon
The signature Bourbon bearing the name of Rev. Elijah Craig, a Bourbon pioneer who is credited with being the first distiller to age his whiskey in charred oak barrels.
After years of aging in charred oak, the most complex barrels get chosen to become Elijah Craig Small Batch, Barrel Proof, and Single Barrel Bourbons. Small Batch won “Best Small Batch Bourbon” and a Double Gold medal at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Barrel Proof was Whisky Advocate’s ‘Whisky of the Year’ in 2017
